Guy Ritchie to direct film on King Arthur
    Sacramento Sun
    Thursday 11th March, 2010
    (IANS)

British filmmaker Guy Ritchie is set to wield the megaphone again and his new movie will tell the story of King Arthur.

The story of the British monarch is surrounded by numerous myths and fantasies. It was previously the subject of a 2004 blockbuster 'King Arthur' starring Keira Knightley and Clive Owen, reports dailystar.co.uk.

However, the new story, based on Thomas Mallory's 'Le Morte d'Arthur', a compilation of French and English tales from 1485, is about the sixth century ruler's defeat of Saxon invaders.
